FINE CUT – TV – Film

The final version of a programme or film after it has been edited. Refers to film originally, in that the fine cut includes all the dissolves and other effects put in by the EDITOR and is created by actually cutting the negative. Also called FINAL CUT. See NEG CUTTING and ROUGH CUT and EDITING.
