CAMERA OPERATOR – TV – Film
The member of a TV or Film CREW who physically operates the camera. For smaller productions or factual programmes the cameraman directs how the lighting should be set up and operates the camera. A modern TV cameraman working on a variety of locations will do everything –position and set up the lights, operate the camera and even set up the sound. For a movie the camera operator will work to the LIGHTING CAMERAMAN or CINEMATOGRAPHER.
