AM - Audio - Radio

Amplitude Modulation. Radio/audio. Usually found as a radio transmission system where the amplitude, or value, of the carrier signal is varied according to the amplitude of the audio signal. Broadly speaking if the music gets louder the signal carrier gets louder too. In radio AM is often known as ‘crackly old Medium Wave’.
