Learning : To build ideas of study of media products by applying skills acquired
Understanding : To develop understanding by analysis of the set products
Starter/Loop Activity (5 minutes)
- Resource Pack Slide 12: Task 1A Pupils asked to consider the task from the Lesson Resource: ROGUE ONE POSTER.
Prepare the Learning (5 minutes)
- Share the objectives. Remind students of the objectives we are working towards meeting. This unit is designed to help them prepare for the two papers of the examination. All skills and strategies are transferable.
- Go over responses to the Loop activity. Tease out the points relevant to today’s learning – media examinations.
- Though it appears like an overkill of slides, many can be skimmed through, having the study material inserted for student reference in the lesson, is my own preference. The details are in the student note packs included with your subscription to this pack of lessons. They can be set as pre-reading (which I do) or for reading later as part of the Home Learning.
