Edusites Media provides visually dynamic, interactive Starter, Booster and Revision Courses on TV News dedicated to, and focusing on specification requirements.
- Pupils will analyse Television News, both national and regional and also news across a range of convergent platforms targeting a range of audiences.
- Practical activities include how to respond to a pitch e.g. creating a new national TV News programme targeting a teenage audience, designing the website homepage of a new TV News channel and storyboarding.
- Pupils will explore texts such as Newsround, Sky News, BBC News 24, Al Jazeera English, ITV News at Ten and 5 News but also linking with the availability and accessibility of news across diverse platforms.
- All key examination areas will be studied such as genre (forms and conventions), narrative, audiences, brand identity, institution and ownership, regulation, scheduling, digital technology and representation.
- All potential areas of questioning will be covered – use your chance to significantly raise attainment.

- A 3-Hour Half Day Course costs £300.
- A 6-Hour Full Day Course costs £450.
