Book A Half or Full Day Workshop in Your School

Programme Details

  • Our full or half day, interactive, visually stimulating workshops introduce, boost or revise the study of TV Game Shows – commercially successful programmes that are split into a range of sub genres to appeal to the widest possible audience.
  • This workshop focuses exclusively on the topic for AQA GCSE 2017 summer examination by analysing form and format, genre and narrative, representation, audiences, scheduling, promotion and marketing but also understanding practical tasks and pitching ideas.
  • A range of texts will be explored including Celebrity Juice, Pointless, Pointless Celebrities, A Question of Sport and The Crystal Maze for example. Texts used as stimulus will be primarily contemporary but also occasionally historical to provide an institutional framework.
