Objectives

Knowledge            : To develop ideas about the AQA CSP set products

Learning               : To build ideas of study of media products by applying skills acquired

Understanding     : To develop understanding by analysis of the set products

Starter/Loop Activity (5 minutes)

Prepare the Learning (5 minutes)

  • Share the objectives. Remind students of the objectives we are working towards meeting. This unit is designed to help them prepare for the two papers of the examination. All skills and strategies are transferable.
  • Go over responses to the Loop activity. Tease out the points relevant to today’s learning – ideas of the issues in promoting products.

Construct the Learning (25 minutes)

  • Slide 8-9. Focus of the unit. Discuss the outline of the examination – the nature of the CSPs to be studied and the manner in which they will be examined in the Paper One exam.
