For some lessons access to the internet is essential/works best for that lesson’s objectives and teaching point and may require that you book your department/faculty/centre’s computer room. I always offer alternative ways of completing the work in the lesson or provide samples/examples on the Slide Resource if this is not possible. In such cases I suggest that the internet access tasks are set as home learning.
Some lessons also lend themselves to being divided into more than one session. Where this is possible/desirable is indicated in this Teacher Guide. You will, of course, have a much greater understanding of the needs, capacities, pace of your students and make these decisions where you feel most appropriate to their needs.
These lessons assume the set option pairing has been viewed by the students but may not have been discussed in any detail. The work supplements ideas/research that the candidates will be set on these products and is not their sole research or reading around these products.
