What Can I Access As A Student?

Richard Gent | Thursday October 01, 2009

Categories: FAQ, Access Info

  • All entries in the Topics area (see navigation menu in the sidebar on the left).
  • Skills
  • Quizzes
  • Glossary
  • Ardnox High (our online comic strip)
  • Careers Information
  • Students’ Work
  • Useful Links
  • YouTube Playlist (YouTube is often blocked by school servers. However, students should be able to access this invaluable resource as part of their homework.)
  • Gallery Images

Students do not have access to the ‘Courses’ area on the site. Any pages containing downloads will also be unavailable to students.

We are working on a modification to the login system so that it only displays the parts of the site that students can access. Hopefully, this won’t take too long to implement.

If you encounter a problem when planning student activities and you feel students should be able to access the page or resource, please get in touch and we’ll see if we can either grant access or create a student version of it.

It’s a good idea to check that your activities / research work as intended before you attempt them with students.

The best way to do this is to login to the desired areas of the site using one of your student’s logins and check that everything goes to plan. If not, please get in touch and provide us with the URL (web address) of the page you had a problem with. We’ll also need to know what the problem was so that we can fix it for you.

Hope this helps.
