NSPCC Billboard Campaign February/March 2002

An advertising campaigns is normally a sequence of related advertisements that market a product or service to a specific target audience. A campaign for a single product or brand will usually incorporate more than one type of advertisement, e.g. magazine ad, tv ad, radio ad and billboard/poster distribution.

The only way to begin to understand how they work in a more structured and strategic way than a single advertisement is to see one in action. The links below should provide you with a starting point.

Download an excellent starter activity by Sam Custance to help you learn about Persuasive Language in TV Ads.
